General FAQ

We open at 11am seven days a week. Closing times range from 9:15pm-9:30pm (Thu-Sun) and 9:45-10pm (Fri-Sat). Visit Urban Plates Locations for location details.
Generally, we do not accept reservations (nor are they needed). We offer open-seating dining rooms and patios available on a first-come, first-serve basis. For special requests, please contact your local store (Urban Plates Locations) and we will make every effort to accommodate.
Yes! Delivery orders can be placed online at urbanplates.com or on the Urban Plates app. The delivery radius is approximately 5 miles of the location.

Yes! Gift cards are available for purchase at any of our restaurants. Gift cards and e-gift cards are also available for purchase online at Urban Plates Gift Cards.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Urban Plates gift cards, Apple Pay (at the register), and Google Pay (at the register).
At this time, we do not have franchise opportunities as we are company owned and operated.

Menu FAQ

Yes! Our steak is grass-fed and grass-finished, which means the cattle are 100% grass-fed only.
Studies have found that grass-fed beef contains higher amounts (compared to grain-fed beef) of healthy fats and omega-3 fatty acids and is leaner than grain-fed beef. Grass-fed beef also has the added benefits of being vitamin, antioxidant, and mineral rich.
Yes! Our grass-fed steak (featured in our Grilled Grass Fed Steak Plate, Chimichurri Grass Fed Steak Plate, Grilled Steak Salad, Grilled Steak Sandwich and Grilled Steak Kid’s Meal) and grass-fed lamb (featured in our seasonal Lamb Osso Bucco) are both Halal.
Our salmon is sustainably farm raised and certified by the ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council). More details can be found at ASC Salmon Standards.

For most of our cooking, we use an organic blend of extra virgin olive oil and non-gmo canola oil. We also use rice bran oil (for frying) as well as organic extra virgin olive oil.

Please call the location you ordered from (location details can be found at Urban Plates Locations) and ask to speak with a manager or fill out the “Food & Service Feedback” contact form and we will get in touch with you as quickly as possible to make things right.

Plate Pass is our membership-based program that saves you 20% off every order (plus other perks)!
Plate Pass costs just $5 per month!
There are three Plate Pass plans: Plate Pass (monthly), Plate Pass Gold (6 months), and Plate Pass Platinum (12 months).
Plate Pass (monthly) gets you 20% off dine-in and takeout orders (no discount for delivery orders). Plate Pass Gold (6 months) and Plate Pass Platinum (12 months) get you 20% off dine-in, takeout, and delivery (amongst several other benefits). Visit Plate Pass for more details.

Once you’re signed up for Plate Pass, ensure you’re logged into your account before placing your order.
From your account profile, click “CANCEL PLATE PASS”.
Orders placed on 3rd party platforms (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.), catering orders, gift card purchases, and Thanksgiving turkey items are excluded from Plate Pass discounts.

Catering FAQ

Absolutely! The quickest and easiest way to place a catering order is online at Urban Plates Catering.
Yes! We partner with 3rd party delivery providers (e.g., DoorDash) and typically deliver within a 10 mile radius of the restaurant. Larger orders may be personally delivered by an Urban Plates manager.
We have experience catering large events, parties, and weddings, and evaluate these inquiries on a case-by-case basis. For consideration, please fill out a Catering Inquiry Form with more details and a catering consultant will be in touch with you.

Gift Cards FAQ

It’s possible that the e-gift card went to the recipient’s spam or junk folder. If they still can’t find it, please email [email protected] with the order details and we will resend the e-gift card.
Physical gift cards take approximately 5-7 business days (from the date they were purchased) to be delivered.
