It has been a busy 2016 for us here at Urban Plates! Between March and July we have opened 5 restaurants, bringing us to 10 locations in total. We now have three restaurants in the San Diego area, three in Orange County, two in the Los Angeles area, and two restaurants in the East San Francisco Bay Area.

We would like to thank all of our dedicated Team Members for making this a reality. With each new opening comes a commitment from several Team Members who leave their home for 2-4 weeks to train and develop new Team Members, and bring the culture of Urban Plates to a new city. Although it’s hard work, we make sure to have fun along the way! The foundation of every Urban Plates is built by our people, instilling within our new team the core values and promises we hold ourselves to everyday. The end goal? To create memorable experiences for our Guests by serving the highest quality food made from scratch served in a warm, inviting environment, and providing our unique brand of hospitality, taking care of each Guest, one plate at a time.

Excitement upon the completion of training in La Jolla!

Coming up in late October is our next opening in Thousand Oaks, CA. This will be our first venture (no pun intended) into Ventura County and we couldn’t be more excited! We have just begun the process of hiring upwards of 60 new Team Members for the opening of this restaurant.
